Canterbury Tales (script) by Chaucer made modern by Phil Woods with Michael Bogdanov.  Music by Chris Barnes.

We’re really excited to be working on The Canterbury Tales together

- a collection of bold, funny, cheeky and surprisingly moving stories about people from all walks of life on a shared journey.   Our version will celebrate the humour, humanity and variety of Chaucer’s characters, while keeping the spirit playful and accessible for a modern audience.

This will be an immersive, theatrical radio-style production, where voices, atmosphere and storytelling lead the experience, drawing the audience into the journey as if they are travelling alongside the pilgrims.   Bring a group of friends and a picnic to share.   The Bar will provide beer and wine for all pilgrims.

Please note this is unsuitable for under-16s.

We have been treading the boards for over 50 glorious years.
