For our November production, we are looking at “Once a Catholic” by Mary O’Malley.

Set in the mid-1950’s in North London, this wonderfully funny and affectionate comedy of Mary McGinty and her friends Mary Gallagher and Mary Mooney (and all the other Marys in form 5A at the Convent of Our Lady of Fatima) are getting to grips with O-levels, sex, religion and rock ’n’ roll.

From the pious student to the whacky male music teacher; from the overbearing headmistress to the Teddy Boy, there are plenty of varying characters to challenge anyone who auditions.

We are holding open auditions on 24th June, 7.30 pm at the Reading Rooms.  If you are interested in taking a part, please come along!

We have been treading the boards for over 50 glorious years.
